Outch. If those speeds are attainable with the 2 speed on my HPI, then I will mount up a set of FG slicks on her. Those tires are way more stable at speed versus the HPI. Now if I remember correctly, you blew up a set of Proline Escvators. Now, that does not suprise me. Those freakin tires are made of a soft compounds and do not have dense foams. Neither of those are good for or stable at high speeds.
The hostile zero growths are way better at speed. The problem is that the HPI tires are not belted. That is the problem. The tire still expand at speed. _________________ Not Now Chief........I in the Fucking ZONE!

Ive been taping the inside of the tyres with good results. It stops the tyre ballooning to much but at those speeds its still pot luck that they dont explode. I shreaded every tyre they make for the baja, its good fun but can get expensive. |

It's a little more money but use the hostile zero growths. That's what I'm using and I have no ballooning whatsoever. I want to try these: http://www.suhracing.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=17
I heard they are very good and last long. The whole set and adapters comes In around 250.00 My only issue Is you can't run axle etenders. |

| Ill be honest with you about those, George from FBF has them, although he never ran them from what I saw, they are extremely heavy, too much rotating mass for me. I do like the way they look, just too bulky for what I would want. _________________ Administrator - RC Burn Out Racing Forum
