your thinking is rite,they are bad ass. I,m building a new funny car myself over the winter to sell.my chassis is an exact copy of the M.K.-Pacesetter funny car. its gonna have custom quick change rear end with dual disc brakes,life like working headers and a few more cool things.those cars look great with a little eye candy. keep searching,you will find one.

click on quarterscalegod towarrds bottom of page then click on custom made rears and you will see pics of the brakes set up on a quick change rear end
