Anyone tired of having the pins break on your second gear hub,I want to have these made with a captured pin design similar to the baja skunkworks design or made of different material something more reliable.
Anyone have any input? Or ideas before I drop it of at a machine shop.
And does anyone want in on one.

I got tired of using stock FG pins too. I have a 4 tooth downshift hit and what I been doing is drilling out the other nubs and tapping them. I use a hardened button head screw. I used a micrometer to measure the stock pin then went to the local hobby shop and bought a small tap a little larger than the pin, then purchased the button head hardened bolt at the hardware store and red loctite it in. The tapping and bolt replacement works and will last 5 times longer. Then you will also have 3 other nubs to drill out for later usage.
