Thanks for the comments guys!! I know the car is not over geared but i think it has more to do with the clutch spring. I put that 8000RPM clutch spring in there and when the clutch hits it HITS HARD i guess that heat just got the best of it. Another thing i noticed is the rear fiber glass brake rotor was hitting the plastic and cut into the plastic nicely. SO im guessing all that heat coming from both those places really took a toll.

I gotta say tho the FG baja is a real nice car to drive, i had the sportline in 2006ish and man was that car a POS to drive so i sold it and got a HPI baja. I had a good time with the baja untill i started trying to get it to run faster. After 60mph the car was near impossible to drive.......This thing just floats down the street like a caddy. I should have gotten one a LONG LONG TIME AGO and never got into stupid boats.......

FYI I HATE R/C BOATS Shocked

I dont hate boats yet but I do hate NITRO.

You bringing the baja out to dade on wednesday? Let me know and I'll bring mines as well and we can make some passes. Also might get the stadium truck back out to make some passes with it as well.

PS, if you know of anyone looking for a stadium, let me know. Im thinking about selling it.

DDM didn't have tthe parts i needed but i was lucky and found what i needed at largescale r/c. Tomorrow i should have the allyo clutch carrier so while i started taking the car apart today i found this nice suprise.......NO CLUTCH!!!

As you can see my spring pretty much unloaded, so it was touching the bell the whole time. The funny thing is the motor never bogged or shut down so i didn't notice something was wrong untill i saw my pinion start wobbling drastically.

New clutch time!
