What I do is I put a piece of standard sizes paper in between the two gears and push the engine back as hard as I can while I tighten up the bolts. Try that

i guess the mounts are worn out already..screws wont tighten anymore..im lookin at ddm for mounts theres small mount and large mount..from what i understand the large mount is for 26engines?which i have on right now..do i need 2 large mounts for front and back of engine?or just one large and 1 small?
