What is the best diff grease to use in my baja, i've recently up graded my layshaft, and i found the grease inside my diff was extremely thick, and you can actually feel resistance when free rolling the motor.

I really think a lighter grease is needed

Any ideas ?

Offroad I have come to like 10K silicone oil
Onraod I like 20K

I use 50k oil for sand dunes and find it works well onroad as well. Not much good for loose dirt tho. 5 to 10k is better for that.

Either way the greese whats in has to come out,

I think a 10k should do it then,

I like my cars to run free on bearings with out the friction and drag of the greese,

will get it changed in the next day or so and let you know how it is.
