MCD at Kissena Park IN queens

Did a little bashing with the baja On Sunday at Kissena Park In Queens. Met a guy that had a nice looking MCD. It's a lot bigger than I thought .

looks nice ,only thing with the mcd when u take off the body? it looks ugly hehehe.

Yeah I didn't get to snap a pic when he took the body off, but It was mammoth .

and my question is... was the MCD faster? does it bash good? did it break anything?

Estrell, I can honestly say Mine and Mreps 5B's were definitely faster, I don't know If It was his motor,pipe or gear selection. I know there are way more gears available for the MCD than the 5B. I'm pretty sure with It being 4WD, the right combo of motor, gearing and pipe It can be faster than a 5B. Oh and nothing Broke.

MCD's are heavyweights, I have one and it weights a ton!! Not surprised you guys were faster in a straight line. I am putting my MCD on a diet, by lighting up the chassis. pig

I can honestly say, I think MCD is the toughest large scale on the market,, please do not try and compare a Redcat Rampage to it......
I have owned my share of Baja 1000's and RR's and I have never broke a part on one, jumping 8 foot piles of dirt and gravel, mud slinging, jumping rocks...nothing
Yes, they are very heavy, but take notice of the quality even in there plastic... Its much better then any plastic FG/HPI part.
The gearing options are endless, you can get them in the high 60's very easy, but way too heavy for any serious drag racing.

BRCP has a ton of different gearing options for MCD too, but I have not seen him add anything on the site as of yet.
