hi, im new to this forum just stumbled across 1/4 scale drag racing and am already planning out a chassis and body but wanted to know about where to get wheels, drivetrain parts and steering parts thanks

there are so many options in 1:4 scale its ridiculous.

are you starting from scratch? please tell us more.

yes im starting from scratch with a tube chassis and i am going to atempt to make a pro mod body from scratch, im new to 1/4 scale but ive been bulding and racing 10th scale and real cars for several years

all you will then need is a 54mm clutch and clutch bell and a custom drive shaft.
thats the easiest way to get the power to the $800 affraid quick change rear... lol!

I don't think they even use clutches on those 1/4 scale dragsters, its direct drive.

well the quick change was an example ive got an idea on how to do a scale fab 9 rear end to look like what they use in pro mod

nate they use clutches like ours its just diffrent style of gears they are in the rear end

OPS! I didn't know that I thought it was direct drive since the motors where so big.
