PostSubject: FG Leopard   Sat Feb 27, 2010 2:02 pm

Guys,
I have a opportunity to pick up a brand new FG Leopard for a really good deal. I do not know much about the FG models is this worth getting? Can I convert this to a Baja? I really would like to run the Beetle body. Any help would be appreciated. I am going to set this up for Drag Racing and if it is not worth fooling with then I need to know.

Unfortunatly the Leopard is a bit longer being its considered a true 5th scale like the HPI Baja.
The FG Baja and Marder, Beetle ect are a tad smaller and considered a 1/6th scale model, so I doubt you can get the Beetle body to look decent on a longer chassis, but I guess you'll never know, unless you try it!

The leopard was actually my first choice for a FG, until I found a couple of people at my bash spots had Baja's and marder's as well as The Forum members that run them at FBF. After that I was sold on the Baja/Marder. Smile
