Carlos, nice edition to your collection, good luck with it!
but I may have to correct your information.......
This is not a EVO series at all, this is a very early version of the FG Sportline, you can see the mono shock setup in the front, this is a dead give a way for how old it is, the plastic parts confirm it's a sportline series, in any event, it's a nice car.

Also, the parts car is made by either Carson, Smartech or Hobbypro, it is not an FG, but they were all well built and almost 100% interchangeable with FG.

Good luck with them, your gonna have some fun now!

so the early versiono doesnt have front shox??

NO THE EARLY VERSION HAS 1 SINGLE SHOCK.

oh ok now i see the shocks with green springs hehe

I swapped my saints build for highwaystars' FG monster beetle.

it is a well maintained car, I just wanted the platform for drag racing. it is more than good enough for basic 132' drag racing out the box. i have already fitted it with slicks and plan on drag racing it soon. then i'll up the motor and the ante.

1st real outing with it.
im still running the stock stuff.

I thought the stock 5T would be excellent to compare with.
it took work, but once it was dialed in, i took the win.

it looks like the FG onroads CAN be setup for drag racing.
go fig???

whaduya think... new motor or pipe first???

Nice Sportsline. I run them both and I can tell you that the Sportsline is so much faster that you can't even compare it with the HPIs. Stock out of the box is 53mph vs the hpi at 45mph. To make the sportsline into a drag car is extemely easy. Its basically the same as the FG buggy, run a two speed with buggy slicks. My FG sportsline with a single gear can reach over 80mph. Check out my vids in youtube and you'll see how the HPI Bajas compete with Sposrtsline. HPI are great cars too, I run them both and love them but they both have different purpose...

Hi Estrellainc, pleasure to meet you. The sportsline is a deadly machine if you set it up right.

Thanks Bro. My FG took a hit last week. Rear shock pin backed out which caused a small road rash. Not bad though. How are you guys running out there?
