PostSubject: Got some questions?   Sun Apr 25, 2010 11:07 pm

Hey Guys! A couple of months ago I turned my FG MT into an onroad car/truck. So my first question is.
1: the needle bearnings on my 2spd blew. Is there a replacement or aftermarket hopup. It was the bearing on the spur gear on the carrier.

2: It is so narrow that when I'm making turns at a decent speed it just flips over! I have front and rear sway bars! So I want to know if there are extended arms? I am running baja 5B tires front and rear.

Thanks for any help!

What compound tires are you using? I ahd the same issue with soft compound Hostile tires.

FG slicks will cure the rolling problems.

One way bearings

I has the softa all around. I thought the soft fronts were the problem. I guess the Tarmacs have the same issue with biting intot he pavement.

The IQP racing body is cool, I got me one! Although I dont recommend trying to go down the track at 75mph, mine took off like an airplane!!
After that, body was removed and sitting here doing nothing ever since!

Nice pics DSJ

Thanks for the kind words guys! As in my OP, it was an monstertruck! And yes the body is kind of flimsy. I was pulling the wheels off the ground when 2nd gear would kick in and the wind would just take it! Like a kite! LoL! Great looking body but is more trouble then it's worth. So I mostly run with nothing on it. But now my Dom pipe looks like shit from rolling it! I can't win! And I ripped the screws right out of the motor mounts! So I'm dead in the water till parts arrive!

Hey BB2! Are you running a rollcage? I have flipped, tumbled, smashed and bashed mine, and never broke a plug before. I guess there is a first time for everything?
