| I undersatnd there is a kit out, but I don't know anything about it. I do know the engine a bit though. It is a "untility engine", also used for some back pack leaf blowers. Stock, I think Zen claims 5hp, and probably does not rev past 9000 RPM--and it is quite a bit heavier than a Zen RC engine. |

| From what others have said, the effective RPM range for the 62cc is around 12,00 (stock) to 15,00 (with a proper tuned pipe). I have seen vid of the engine with a Trevor Simpson Reed and then ported that reved to about 17,000 rpm. I have seen them run in person and the make alot of power VERY quickly then they die off. It is kinda like a diesel engine of sorts. They make a ton or torque but it is for a few hundred RPM's same goes for the 62cc. They make massice torque but it is only for 2K RPM's _________________ Not Now Chief........I'm in the Fucking ZONE!

| Great info. So is it a good engine for what we are doing here or not. Thanks, Roger. |

With enough time and money into it---you can make a coffee table go fast. Even though it is a 62cc engine, I would personally start off with a race engine, and you have a lot more pipe choices with the RC engines. If you like to port, build pipes and tinker, I am sure you can find more power from the 62cc engine though. If you insist on going that way, but want somebody to do the work for you, Trevor Simpson probably has the most experience with the engine, but I don't know how easy or hard it would be to get him to do the work for you.
The pipe is a big deal. There are some great pipes for the RC engines, but I don't know of one good pipe for the G62 (that does not mean one does not exist--I just doubt it).
