SPICER RACING is calling out to all 1/4 scale gooroo's

I just wanted to say I am in the R&D stages of building a 1/4 scale chassis (funny car, prostock, promod) (dragster will come later) With in the next week or two I will have a complete roller ready for some goodie pictures.

I am looking to build and sell these as "Ready to run" or as a "Rolling chassis".
When the car is 100% complete and full of fuel and ready to run, the car should
weigh in at 20-25 pounds.

Also in the R&D stages is a 2 speed set up.....Should be complete the end of June.

I also do Re-foams for 1/10th and 1/12th scale wheels.
I just finished my first set of 1/4 scale foams and just to let you all know....those foams will
be racing at the ROCK! So check them out and let me know what you think.

1/10th and 1/12th scale refoams are $10 aset.
1/4 scale refoams are $70 aset.

They are softer than anything out there on the market. Have trouble with breaking the
tires loose at half track???? Well say good by to that issue....These hook!
With a set of these....You will be able to get all that monster power to the ground with no proublem..

Well thats a good question.....a price?

From what I have figured up here is what you get......

ROLLERS
prostock $700 (all you need is radio, reciever, engine)
funny car$700 (all you need is radio, reciever, engine)
Dragster $800 (all you need is radio, reviever, engine)

READY TO RUN
Prostock $1200 (49cc 2 stroke)
funny car $1200 (49cc 2 stroke)
dragster $1300 (49cc 2 stroke)

Now these prices are NOT set in stone. I am just giving you all the heads up on
what you can be expecting.....Let me know how you feel about the prices.....

At those prices i would be willing to take a shot on one of each. Couple questions...

What type of frame construction?
Drive type? Chain, Belt, gear, Rear end?
Body material? Fiberglass or lexan
What style of bodies?
Wheel material? Aluminum or plastic?
Clutch type?
Braking type?

Any pics of any stages yet? (teaser shots?)

Frame? 1/8" Fiberglass "twin rail" very strong.
Drive type? #25 chain ( to keep costs down)
Body? I am going to offer whatever bodys are out there.
Front wheels? they will be hand made. Hard ABS plastic 5" tall with O-ring.
clutch? a pocket bike style.
Brake? its going to be like the megatech style brakes thats on the darkthunder. Why?
because it can all be hand made and easy. (againg to keep weight and costs down)

sounds pretty good. cant wait to see it. I have seen cars made with fiberglass rails before. I think its a pretty good idea.

I see these cars and dont get me wrong. The tube chassis is awsome and
looks really good. The quick change rear end is awsome but its just way over priced.
I started this to help the little man like myself....low budget and big dreams kinda guy.
My cars might not be carbon fiber, or tube chassis....but believe me...They going to
run with the best of them I promise.

Like my dad use to tell me "Son she ant gotta look pretty, shes just got to go fast A to B!

Yes some day. I had a website when I use to do Airbrushing full time. Its just finding the time right now to be able to sit down and do it. I work nights running cnc machines and now
its summer time my kids are out of school for couple months....But yes a website is going to come sooon!

Here is a sneek peek at whats coming out of the SPICER RACING camp......
Super comp style dragster....Its still on paper. but today i ordered all the stuff to start building her.
I am sure changes will be made.....but theres many and many more new things coming..........
