| Hi, Well I finally started it today.I had to modify a car starter motor to start this thing. The Sullivan S650 wouldn't start it with 12v .So I took it back to the hobby store.I didn't try the 24v hookup because I didn't want to lug around two car batteries.i did find that when the engine started the rear wheels ran backwards. The Raco gearbox came out and it was a easy fix. After that it started no problem.Well one problem ,The clutch arbor spun loose. I knew it would be a problem,But tried it anyways.I have a new arbor on the way.I would also like to thank 2 great guys for their help.I bugged the hell out of Roger for the chassis measurements.I started with a plastic model dragster and scaled it to 1/4 scale.Roger gave me these measurements to make sure I was within the numbers he gave me. The other is (The Man) Bob.He supplied the front wheels, the rear axle and ring gear hub, the wheel hubs , the vbelt hub to start the engine.Oh and the clutch arbor. Thanks again guys. There will probably be snow by the time the arbor arrives. If the road it clear of snow I'am running it.LOL. |

| I took advantage of the good weather today.I took the dragster up and down the street. The clutch arbor held up ....so far.Idled nice and power to the rear wheels was smooth.I need to drop the air pressure. If the rain holds off tomorrow i'll take it out and do some hard runs. I want to make sure the clutch holds up. |

| I'am working on a new wing support. To go with the Avro Arrow theme. I've got the air intakes almost complete. They will be attached to the body on both sides of the driver. | Thanks. I think i'll make a fiberglass cover at the wing support and mold it to hide the parachute and to make it look like the black exhaust cones. The cover will extend forward to the front of the wing support. | The intakes are functional.Air will be directed to the front of the engine. |

| Very nice work on the air dams and rear wing PT, but I think the original build without the two is the way to go. Purely my opinion. |
