Looking for a source for some liteweight wheels(frt and rear). Would like direct mount front wheels(no hub)maybe with a o-ring like the 10th scale guys. For the rear, need lite plastic rims so foam can be mounted on. The kart wheel/tires are too heavy. Looks like I will be running mainly on 132ft track so everything has to be lite. These will be for ProStock and ProMod cars. Needing a source for rear foams too. Anybody heard from Spicer Racing lately? Wanted some of his rear foams, he seems to be MIA on forums.

Spicer racing rear foams are what the 1/4 scale guys are switching to.
And I am sure that the new quarter scale records that were set last month will fall at the Midwest Nationals.
in August .. because of the new "softies" that Robert Spicer is making...

It's really sad that there is no recent videos from the 1/4 scale races that IMRDA and other clubs, we would all love to see some videos of what type of numbers you guys are seeing in all the 1/4 scale classes, I would love a good reason to set something up make such a trip.
Can anyone link a recent video?

Hey everyone.........computer took a poop! But eveything is back up and running.
The rear wheels I carry right now are a 4 bolt pattern 2 peace setup from bishop racing. These wheels are lite and strong. My 5" abs plastic front wheels are still in "proto type" status.....but I have the first set on my personal car. They are SUPER lite and SUPER strong...I am going to sell the 5" front wheels for $40 a pair with o-rings. New rear wheels
with foams are $100 aset.

Well i got my 41 willys body mounted today.......Still trying to find a clutch that will fit
a 1/2 shaft with #25 chain sprocket........the first "roller" is almost done.....I will keep
you all posted with updates!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone has question..........feel free to call me anytime.....361-488-8107

Ross West sent me a set of bishop racing foam tires (with bands)
Hes going after that national record.....Well he came to the right place....
I am not one to "bash" anyone.....So dont take this the wrong way......i took one
complete bishop tire with band.....and weight it......It took 3 of my complete tires to equal the weight of one bishops tires.

Hey NYDragracer, I have some video of some of the Q-Scale action from the Rock. I have to figure out how to post it, as soon as I do I will post the footage. If you and some of your buddies decide to make the trip to Chicago for the Midwest Nats I can tell you one thing........You won't be disappointed! The Q-Scale class is really gaining popularity.
Hey Bullet I agree that the new Q-Scale record set by myself will probably fall at the nat's. But thats ok, records are meant to be broken . The Rock race was a EYE opening race for quite a few fellow racers and a learning experience some including myself. That record can certainly be reset, I for one believe there is more left in my car Twisted Evil

Rey all you have to do is post the link from you tube.
If you have raw footage, goto youtube.com and upload your video, name it and when it's done, just post the link!
By the way what is the record you speak of on that 132ft track?

Thanks
Pete

Hey Rey,I think it's awsome that you broke records first time out....shows your dedication
to the sport...and if the record keeps falling ,it will just bring in more racers,,, and we
all benefit from that...

Really looking forward to having a lot of fun in Lynwood...
A little bird told me that we'll see some of the guys from Long Island at Lynwood...

How cool would it be to see 12 1/4 pounders there...

Back to the "falling records" at the midwest nationals.....From what I hear.....Ross West with that big Oneill Brothers Power now has the foams to put that big power to the ground and make it stick...Also Miguel "CT bullet" I think has some tricks in the bag who is also going to run SPICER RACING FOAMS. I wish all you the very best and good luck. This is a life long dream of mine......I would love to see a national record with my foams......Go get em boys!!!!!!!!!

Bishop tires makes great tires mounted or what ever you want at reasonable prices. Depending what you want, they do last a long time.

The owner is named Todd Bishop.

Check him out.
